Default Trance Music - shameless plug!

If any of you are into trance, Gatecrasher has just released the album Trance Anthems 1993-2009. Currently No: 1 in the dance charts.

Truly classic mix of old and new, everything from Veracocha - Carte Blanche to Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel 2009 (Filo and Peri remix).

I've just added it to my collection!

    Track List here: http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/9644...9/Product.html

Also available on Itunes to download.

I think there are quite a few of the tracks on Youtube as well to preview if you search under the album title.

As much as I love this music, I'm getting really tired of all the 199x to 200x albums that are coming out at the moment. Far far to many of them!!!

A tell tale sign that a genre is on it's last legs, let's milk it for what's it worth !

Nothing wrong with Deathchant, but gabber gets old... But I do love some good trance, but I sure got tired of that hard trance crap at the last few show I worked at, that and CDJ's WTF bring a turn table!

I really don't see the need for decks any more. I never thought I'd say that either.

Come on give cds a break, they are fantastic for preventing coffee rings on your desk.

But if a DJ turns up at our club with cds; he or she is going to have a hell of a job getting them to play on 1200.

As long as they bring one of these and some blank acetates they should be good . This is the first one I found on a google search there are nicer ones that fit on your MK2 or MK3, the bad thing about the acetates is they only last about 10 plays before degrading.

lol, they have gotten better since I last looked.. I still want a laser based cartridge for no damage playback (but scratch artists would hate it...

lol check out the reviews on that - terrible haha...

So what is wrong with CD decks or even from HDD etc. I cant really think of any disadvantages over vinyl at all?! Are people perhaps too stuck in their ways lol?
