ha! So he bought one too?? Very cool.
My replacement head is on the way to me as we speak (the original one was an expensive maraca by the time it got to me)
Unfortunately I cant really help... I just thought I would comment, and also ask a question.
Does he have the laser running using just the little black driver and now he's trying to figure out what the other drivers do, or does he not have it lasing at all?

my guess is that those little black drivers are matched to each head. I'm sure they got a bit mixed up on the surplus market. So, it may not be driving the TEC or diode optimally for his head. Whether there are adjustments inside that driver, I have no idea
