Just thought I'd introduce y'all to my better-half.
She's coming to SELEM so some of y'all'll get to meet her.

Welcome message left, genuinely interested or just keeping an eye on you like mine?![]()

Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.

Nah...no need for trackin and all that. LOL!
I cannot build these things if my life depended on it...dunno how to run them either...BUT I am SERIOUSLY interested in learning to create some shows. Music is my thing and I'd love to learn the software and start creating shows on whatever Moppy builds...combined interests = <3

Welcome aboard
Are we going to be sampling some of your music at SELEM?

I suffer from the Dunning–Kruger effect... daily.
Well...not really MY music...just meant that music is a HUGE part of my life. Many aspects of it.
I have an extremely eclectic range in my tastes. Learned to love Middle Eastern music while bellydancing. Appreciate good Classical, like Bluegrass and my all time FAVORITE band is TOOLHonestly I love music...just have to post the usual disclaimer for myself....I am a music lover but I DO NOT LIKE/LISTEN TO county or rap!
WHEW!
I don't judge...just my personal preferences.

Always nice to see spouses join in on the laser fun. We should have 4 or 5 spouses present at SELEM this year, which is something of a record. We'll certainly have plenty of music at the event too, though I have to admit that we don't have a lot of bluegrass (though we also have very little country). Lots of electronic dance music, some pop, some classic rock, and a few other genres that defy classification. (How would you categorize the music of Blue Man Group anyway?)
Looking forward to seeing you both on Saturday. (Pity that you'll miss the pre-SELEM party Friday night though... That's going to be one heck of a bash! Maybe next year.)

I really have heard so much I loved but names are difficult still for me to remember. When you are taught dance here , most of the music comes in a pre recorded disc that matches your choreography, so that learning the dance steps/moves is first leaving learning musical talents last. You may recognize a few names of some artists we used frequently. I always though laser shows with M.E. music would be beautiful![]()
Emad Sayyeh, Chalf Hassan, Hozzam Ramzy and Tabla Queen Anuradha Pal. Many others as well that are less memorable only in spelling, pronunciation but all too entrenched in my muscles, bones, and spirit. I am drawn to heavy tabla music especially. Zakir Hussain, and Alla Rakha. I need good drums, it drives my heart and soul. I like Arabic, Arabesque, Turkish, Tunisian, Egyptian classic styles and some of the more POP stuff at times. I miss dancingMaybe I'll be able to learn enough here that I can actually create some
shows around the music that moves me...and pass that feeling to others
Thanks for asking ,
