Default what is a good power meter 0-5 Watt

i am looking for a new power meter.
i currently have a coherent lasercheck that goes up to 1 watt.
but as my laser powers increase i need a new power meter.
what would be a good choice? i want something that can measure up to 5 watt

    Howdy,

Take a look at the Kenometer, they are reasonably priced and go up to 10W I believe.

Otherwise depending on your budget and your needs, coherent has a nice new power meters that hook straight up via usb to your computer or the fieldmax line is bitchin' too.

IIRC... they are no longer available... the Surplus Thermopile Heads can no longer be found
    as that bargain price....
Those heads alone now cost between $300.00 and 900.00 USD..

@ sugeek... do you have a link to the Coherent USB LPM...

I reccomend a Kenometer pro. They are $450 IIRC, and go up to 5W. Also, they are capable of graphing both on the unit, or using a PC

$1500 for teh cheapest one they have. It goes up depending on which thermopile head you want to choose. I have an equivelant model (Kenometer USB) that is kind of the same. Retail is $250 (shipping extra)
