Are you using an AVI system?

    PL friends,

All I can say is it was amazing - the Mayborn Planetarium (60 foot, 14 degree tilt), AVI full dome laser, Global Immersion digital system, Minolta projector, Uniview software, more cool laser software, wild led lighting, upgrades, shows...I've never seen anything like it.

A big thanks to Chuck for pulling all of this together for an incredible experience, and to Tim Walsh for the earlier heads up on the Mayborn. Went by Killeen, TX on the spur of the moment, met Randy & Chuck for the first time. It was great meeting them both.

Does this count as the first Texas mini-LEM?

Chuck, Dude, that was AWESOME !!! Thanks again for your hospitality, some killer shows, and previews of some cool things to come!! It was great meeting you and having the opportunity to hang out - although I admit that getting up early this morning to head to the job site for a 7AM show time sucked profusely...

So, when is the LEM you're hosting at the planetarium?

    HOLY FRICKIN' SENSORY OVERLOAD !!!!

Yeah, it was THAT good!! I was COMPLETELY blown away by the experience - and that was even before Chuck fired up the lasers!!

My next laser-related project may have to be a portable full-dome mini-planetarium to use as a mobile laser venue...

Greg hit it right on the spot - that facility - and Chuck and his team behind it - makes for one unbelievable experience!

Greg - cool running into you! Looking forward to seeing some of the projects you've got hiding in the background!!

I think that given the odds of an unscheduled gathering happening the way this one did, it should officially receive Texas mini-LEM status!!

Mini-LEM? sure it was! It is the only way I can account for the lack of sleep and total geeking out!
