    Default Lightwave 210 2.5w 532nm Q-switched laser FS

Up for sale is a lightwave 210-g laser, which does 2.5w of 532nm q-switched (max power is a little over 3w at 6khz if I remember correctly). It is a complete system, head, lab style power supply, and closed loop chiller, just add 120v single phase and it is ready to burn. The head still has the original warranty stickers on it, and the heads internal eeprom says it has 10 hours on it. I was told it was a spare in a wafer processing area, and didn't get much use. It has a few scratches (mainly on the power suppply), but is working great!

Junktronix has some internal pictures of a similar head up at http://www.junktronix.com/gallery/lwe210g-532, and i have a few (very poor) pictures of the system up at http://krazerlasers.com/images/210g/ Finally information about the laser system, (abit for the 220 series head, which has 4 pump diodes instead of 2) can be found at sams faq http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/laserscl.htm#scllwe221

The output is tem00, with m^2 about 1.2, a nice round about 2mm diameter and 2mrad divergence, that can be focused to micrometer spot sizes for things like micromachining or etching. Because this laser is q-switched, it can be used to cut up thin metal (this thing cuts aluminum foil like a CW laser cuts black electrical tape!), remove anodisation from aluminum, etch anything that absorbs 532nm, etc, etc. It is the predecessor to the Q-series http://www.lightwaveelectronics.com/...-q-series.html from JDSU, and based on a smilar design, but obviously runs at 532nm and 'only' 2.5w output power.

The system is small enough to be shipped if you are in the US, if you come pick it up (located in LA) I will include a rolling minirack case for the chiller. If you really want it shipped outside the US I can work with you.

I guarantee that this laser will arrive making <2.5w of power at 5khz q-switched.

I am asking $5000 for the laser, but am open to offers or trades. Don't miss this chance to get one of the best quality 532nm lasers out there!

For future reference attached is the PDF manual for the power supply.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

To be clear, this laser has been sold

Any discussion at this point is purely educational

If you are looking for the 200 series of lightwave lasers you might contact user greenbeam, last time I talked to him he has a massive pile of similar heads.
