    In my experience between 600-700mA depending on the diode..

    I could try to drive it with about 500mA. That way I know if the pump is broken or not.

    I don't know yet. It's are crazy times here at work for me. I really did not have the time to test (even to dig out the die4drive). It is even so bad that I bought a 1W projector, collected it yesterday in a hurry and did not even had the time to fire it up
    I hope that this weekend I have some time. If not the winter will be long

    Personally I think I killed the diode. When I removed the head, I touched all over it. Unfortunatly the contacts on the PCB on the side of the head go directly to the diode. So I probably killed it with static electricity.
