    Default Livepro Questions

    Hey Guys,
    Got 2 questions:

    1. In each track there are the 4 parts (key effect, colour etc etc), when i hit an effect cue on the cue page and it assigns to that track, i get rid of it by right clicking it with the mouse. Is there a way to assign this function to buttons on a midi controller so I don't have to right-click with the mouse all the time? I looked for it in the Midi section, but couldn't find anything...

    2. The default scan rate is 30k, my scanners run at 20k, so each time I hit play I have to manually turn it down on the scan rate slider. If there a setting that I can make 20k the default scan speed? I've looked everywhere for this, but can't find it either...

    Thanks!

You can set cues, via cue properties, so they cancel the previous key effect, effect, color cycle.

To set default scan speed, you need to open LD2000, go to projector settings, save the slower scan rates as default.

Oh, another thing, I'm running a pentium 4 3gHz with 2 Gig of Ram, and a Radeon 7000 Graphics card. When i play more than 1 track at a time or turn the preview screen on to ERP or whatever it is, playback gets really slow and jumpy, like the computer's struggling... do I need more power??

I'm fairly sure you don't need LD2k to set master scan rate as us FB3 owners would be screwed

Go to Environment --> Projector Settings --> Master Scan Rate and Colour Settings and adjust it there.

Of course you can override this for individual cues if needed.
