I used spraycan matte paint. Color RAL 9005
It came out pretty nice. Most of the uneven spots you see are from my greasy mitts

    Bye everyone
Me and I think many others are following your thread and love when you post pictures. But sometime I don't post because I don't have anything more to add than "oooh very nice work", an I also have no laserpointers I want to Spam about, but anyway....

    Oooh very nice paintjob.

Edison told me when you bake a fresh (heat resistant) paint in the oven you will get a very scratch resistant mat finish.

Wat is next on your list?

BAHAHAHAHA, that made my day!!! I couldn't agree more though. I can only speak for myself, but I most certainly read your posts & specifically this thread! I love seeing pictures and get an understanding as to why people choose to design their projectors the way they do. But typically I wont respond unless I have something worthwhile to add, or a question I needed to ask.

This works pretty well, however, I suggest to do it in a propane grill or some outdoor means of baking, the paint can smell the first time it is heated up. Another way to 'cook' it is by pointing some 500w or 1kW parcans at it. This method also works great if you want to cook food

FourDee, seriously though, keep up the good work and pictures! We all enjoy them

I understand what you mean Mccarrot. If you look at the time of the post you may understand my reaction a little better

Next on the list was a hanging bracket, which I finished today and tuning the scanners. So that means the cover will be coming off tomorrow and pictures of the internals will follow.
