Sure, I have two filters and two fans. The configuration (one or two fans) will be decided later on ...

I set my system up in an old barn for a friend's private house party.. The bass from his system was knocking crap off the ceiling so much that my mirrors were filthy even before I started the laser up. I use a completely open-front case ATM with a small computer style squirrel-cage fan in the rear drawing air in the front and across the laser head and galvo block. I usually don't mind this arrangement since I don't mind the idea of cleaning the mirrors and optics after each gig (which I would do anyway even with a sealed case since I'm OCD about it..). I haven't had any problems in my house with a fog machine. I can run the system for hours without any significant buildup, but you get it into a dirty old building and you'll have a nicely diffuse beam before long. If I were in a similar situation again, I wouldn't even plug the projector in until a few minutes before it was time to start it up. That way the fans wouldn't be running the entire night..

    Nice case

Filtered intakes only = positive pressure & clean projector.

I worked on this all week-end and I managed to squeeze everything in. Now I have to disassemble everything again to give the parts a nice black color

No pictures yet, sorry. My camera is not with me at the moment.

I do have a question though. I managed to get the 6200's running nicely, but I do noticed that when scanning very intensely, the Y galvo get's hotter than the X galvo.
Any possible causes? I have them running the ILDA and LM test patterns very nicely though.

Inertia due to the larger mirror?

I used equally sized mirrors. And it does get quite a bit hotter. Only when scanning 'difficult frames' (ie. ILDA at full angle ...)
