Question Lasos LGK 7803 Argon head, help powering

    Hi all out there.
I own a Lasos LGK 7803 Argon head (according to the sticker) that has a "Jones" 15-pin squared connector.
According to the seller, it is a single line 488, around 50 mw output and It was told by the seller that it is an SpectraPhysics 161 type head.
This could be confirmed by the fact that the head cover has a sticker -just by side the analog hours counter- that says "This cover for 161B head only, do not use other covers".
I have been looking for a while for the specifications page (a pdf file or similar) at the net, and even I have written to the maker (www.lasos.de) in order to have some feedback (I'm still waiting), but without any success . So I'm assuming the head is 161 type for its electrical needs (that lead me to try to find a compatible power source).

I've recently found a power supply from Lasos that has the circular connector (first oh-oh!), but the seller told it wasn't matching the standard circular-connectored heads (as Omnichrome or ALC) despite they use the same connector. So I supposed this power supply (Lasos LGN7872) was a
late model for a 161-type laser head with a circular connector (I don't know really why Jones died the battle against the circular connectors, if someone knows it, please, share it ). Besides, I've found at the Laserdrive site (they seem to make the power sources for Lasos) a 9600 model power supply that matches the LGK7803 head that I own, and the specs seem similar to the data sheet that the seller sent me (by the way, he/she sent me a LGN7812 specs, the ones that are at Lasos website, but not the corresponding to my 7872 power supply, which are missing at lasos site! second and louder OH-OH! ). I suppose the seller tried to help but wasn't aware enough about the specs... or simply she/he sent me the only available...

Well... to resume, if just someone out there could give me a clue about:

-If the head can be rewired from a Jones-squared to a circular connector
without modifying head or power supply, only changing and rewiring the
    connector to a circular one

-the pdf files or whatever regarding the head and the power source...
OBVIOUSLY, this would be definitive to end my search! ... Obviously too: I couldn't start rewiring unless having assured the compatibility

    Thanks for reading.

Find a older spectra physics 261 or 262 PSU, thats where the 15 pin jones comes from.

They are usually available on ebay.
