    Hey guys,

Isn't it better to do this somewere is the center of The Netherlands instead of Haarlem? Maybe Haarlem is too far for our Belgium laserists...

Stoney3k mentioned he could arrange a location in eindhoven, thats closer to BE. But in my view we need a host and a location.
I'm not going to host an event in a location I've never been.
So if the location is going to be be ehv?, stoney3k will automatically have to be the host.

Well.. for me the difference between Eindhoven and Haarlem isnt't that big.. I'm from Groningen.

Eindhoven and Haarlem are the only locations presented so far (and Groningen ofcourse.. but I have a feeling this will not be a popular option )
So let's decide between these two.. unless someone can offer another location?

How could I have missed this thread :P I want to come as well! This time won't bring my cruches . And I can bring my RGV projector wich is finally coming to an end. Really looking forward to seeing all your stuff again! And a workshop from mccarrot would be great.

Eindhoven or Haarlem doesn't really matter for me, it's both about an hour from the hague.

One suggestion though, could we start the LEM a bit earlier? Last time we started like 16:00 or so? I think if we would start at 13:00 or so we could do alot more since last time was a bit short in my opinion
Life is short.... Ride it hard!!

Bart was a very good host last time. He's got a lot of nice equipment and the venue was also very nice, fixed smoke install, lots of rigging capabilities, and high current connections for people with GAS lasers.

therefor I vote for HaarLEM and Bart as Host.

But I wouldn't mind traveling to the south part of the Netherlands if we could find a great (free) location there.

So, everyone in for the 20th? Any oppositions?

I would prefer Eindhoven to Haarlem, or something closer. It's really a long drive.

    That was in Haarlem right?

The venue I'm considering (the Temporary Art Centre) in Eindhoven, has a stage hall that's being used for band performances on a weekly basis. Basic light set (PAR cans) is permanently installed, and there is a spare 32A 400V socket available in the hall. If you need more juice, that's probably possible, but we're going to need to run some cables in that case.

With respect to rigging, the room has a grid of scaffold poles along the ceiling which are fixed to the support columns, but I have no specs on the weight they can support. I personally wouldn't risk hanging a Spectra 168 off those bars...

I'll have a check back with the venue manager and if everything's confirmed, I'll report back. My Chauvet 1250W fog machine is there anyway, so plenty of smoke.

A few tables and powerpluggs will do and of course good music. I will bring my smokemachine but if anyone has a hazer that would be beter. And a possibility to get some drinks because a smoky room is nice for visability of the lasers but not so nice for our throats

I'll bring a technohaze, so we dont have to choke in piles of smoke

the venue in einhoven is also free of charge? The accommodation sound good.
