Is this just with a static beam or with your galvos trying to scan an image? If scanning, what was the original image? A photo may help more than a drawing.

Your galvos are freaking out. Could be that you are scanning too wide and the galvos overheated. Or you have a bad connection with your ILDA cable, could be a number of different issues but it's definitely your scanners.

Definatly not something you want to see with a 5 watt beam... As Evil said, could be anything but most likely galvo or amp related. Connection, ground... passing to the next life. I would try to run only one galvo at a time to see if it is one or both. If one draws a nice straight line then that galvo should be OK and I would assume the other galvo will freak indicating an issue with the galvo, amp or connection for that galvo only; if they both freak out it would probably point to more of a connection or ground somewhere in the lines to the amps.

This is a guess from experience, but not from an expert.

im having issues with my scanners too on one of my 200mw greenies. i run some frames in livepro and it really messes up as if its squashing the immage in the middle. ill try get some pictures of it doing it.
its not totally spassing out on all frames just some of them. sometimes dots are showing as lines too but it all seems to be happening when the scanners are in a certain position as if it squashing the image down

any help- would be great i know its hard without pictures but ill try get some

Glad to hear it went well John. I figured it was the humidity that was messing with it. Lasers and rain don't mix.

It depends on the dew point to. It's frequently 95% here, but the difference is whether its condensing or not condensing.
