    Default HSE (UK) makes several hundred books available as free downloads

    The Health and Safety Executive has just released several hundred of their formerly paid for publications as free downloadable PDF files.

    The list includes HS(G) 95 "The radiation safety of lasers used for display purposes", available here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/hsg95.pdf
    The "Event safety guide" available here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/hsg195.pdf

    Both of these are relevant to those putting on laser shows in the UK, and while most of us have them, I thought the links would be useful to some.

    yes HSG95 used to cost £10 didnt it ! ?

    Maybe just as we have an ILDA swap thread we should have a safety resource thread - maybe a closed thread with local download links to every publication resource found (I say host locally just in case any become non free again).

    Why make safety literature only available for the selected few. ? - The suggestion of hiding it away it is just plain crazy !!!!
