    Default Scanner/Color/ Test board

What would you be willing to pay for a board that:

    A. Lets you verify the average and peak voltage of your color signals.
    B. scans a ramp from left to right allowing you to watch a signal in laser.
    C. Lets you verify the level of a ILDA differential signal.
    D. Provides a reference scanner level and a reference color level.
    E. Outputs a pulse in the middle of the ramp to look for jellybeaning or to tune damping.
    F. Outputs a 30 hz Quad Sqare.
    G. Outputs Static levels of RGB for test.

    30$ ? 45$ ?

What do you mean by "Lets you verify the average and peak voltage of your color signals."? The rest sounds very good, would pay for that!

How about a projector tester which plugs into the ILDA port and can so most of that? That way you can diagnose what is going on with a simple box and not having to open the projector.

    4 things,
Absolute rectifier, 2 peak detectors, scope mode, and integrator.

If misadjusted, Can be Calibrated with on board accurate reference, a voltmeter, and sound card scope software if needed.

Signals will be both ILDA and on a breakout strip/phoenix connector.

I think this would be a wonderful addition to my tool box, of course dependent on price (Probably around $50, so no fancy case).

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

You'd have to be a fool to turn it down at $80, no question

    Thumbs up I'm in.

Can we get an ILDA and LM test pattern also?
