Default Single colour laser brightness with FB3?

Hi guys, I just rewired my projector so that the green laser is on the red channel, but I still can't seem to adjust the brightness of it in the Projector Settings. I need to turn the brightness down a bit so I can film it without overexposing the camera, but can't find any way to do it in the LaStudio showrider software, if the one in projector settings doesn't work.

    Any idea's?

    Dan

Actually, wouldn't the intensity channel be for this? What does it do?

On the FB3 the intensity channel is a TTL output iirc. If any color channel is active intensity goes high (5V).

I have used it with success in a dual projector setup with one RGB and one green only projector. That way you can get the same multicolored image on an RGB and green only laser from the same FB3. Very neat feature.

Regarding the initial problem... put sunglasses on your camera. If you use polaroids then you can angle tune it for the desired brightness.

All the other FB3 applications work well with Projector Settings window. But for some reason LaStudio is a bit hurdy gurdy, (at least on my setup), try changing what's in the box to a different option e.g. Two colour or RGB, as oddly the sliders below unlock or grey out for the wrong settings.

e.g. 2 Colour enables only the green etc...

I wired it back to the green channel, and if I set it to 2 Colour, the T on the "Top" pattern is missing, and the red intensity bar does nothing, and the green adjusts the brightness, but only of the o and p, and the rest of the pattern. In single colour mode, adjusting the res does nothing. In RGB, it misses most of the letters depending on which one you adjust.

Had a chat to Dave, he believes it's a bug. I've sent a bug report off to Pangolin, lets see what happens. Which version of showrider do you guys with FB3's have? (It says down the bottom of the splash screen triangle)
