    Hey Johnathan;

    It's cool dude, I know you're not being argumentative. I was just pointing out that LN2 does have some risks associated with it. I might try the graham cracker trick on myself, or even among friends, but I would not feel comfortable doing it with someone else's child as part of a trick-or-treat gimmick. That's just me though...

    The first link in my post above details the results of someone swallowing a small amount of LN2. He remembered from college that you could pour some on your tongue and not get burned (leidenfrost effect), but for some reason his memory was sufficiently clouded that he thought you could swallow it as well. Damn near killed him...

    I read the article, that's quite a story. I wonder how much he swallowed? It's amazing that he lived really. By the way, I am looking for a cheap "fix me up" fogger/hazer. Right now If I can get a broken, but easily fixable hazer very cheaply I would be interested. Otherwise I'll buy an el cheapo fogger from wally world . If anyone has one they want to cash in....I might be interested.

    I have one that I bought from ebay for like $50 or so. It has a low/diminished output. It heats up, but it seems like the heat exchanger is just clogged. Its yours if you Pay shipping costs. PM me. Also it is a constant fog machine. IE once it warms up the output will never completely stop.

    When I bought that one it had a low output from the begining. So I complained to the ebay seller and he just sent me a new one. The other one is pumping out fog quite well to this day.

    Oh also. In the article it said he swallowed 3-4cc's of LN2

    Yeserday due the lack of dryice (Long weekend) we tried a fog machine with a chiller at the front. Antari something. Look up. We loaded it with ice and tried. Whata crup. No really it was as usable as 20 years old PC. Fog stays @ the ground for a meter or 2 and then it just goes up becoming a regular fog from a fog machine. This ice cooling thing may work in a small 5X5 meter room but it's totally useless for anything bigger then that. Then our guy came with a bag of dryice . We empty the chiller from ice and loaded dry ice. Well it worked but fog machine worked only for 30 seconds and then needed to reheat for 30 seconds. The power of fog machine wasn't powerful enough (1000W) to push smoke to any distance. It would be ok for a stage show but due the reheating it's useless. So that the story. The conclusion. If you do shows for a living forget ice chillers. If you do it for a house party then yeah it will be ok. I know dry ice is expensive. Machine is 800$ + 15killos of Dryice (=wedding first dance and little left to do CO2 bombs after the show = 30$.

    that's funny, because in terms of a "professional" device you're using it in a fairly small area.

    I was just saying that the machine has a lot of output, perhaps you misunderstood my remark? no affront intended

    *Edit* Yeah, I can see why you'd think that, my previous remark sounds like it has some teeth to it.

    for that location I was the first to ask not to use that machine.
    they convince me to use it only for the video.
    they filmed with 4.5mm focal lenght, ultrawide lens from fujinon hd
    a lot of money (i've seen you work on audio, you may know the prices of hdtv broadcast lenses and cameras) used only for a 3min scene.
    I pushed the button of the fog cue on the light desk only for 5 or 6 seconds maybe less, I can't remember - and look what a low fog effect
    do you like the co2 confetti videos on the ypoutube account?
