Turn your Fog Machine into a Heavy Fog Machine
Found this DIY project last night:

Don't know if its any good but it doesn't involve physically altering your machine at all and if it does work for smaller areas, then its a way of saving a lot of money!

Nice!!
Maybe would it be possible to use some big TEC cooler to replace the ice? Coz ice isn't really practical... Albeit it will keep your beers fresh during a party
-
Isn't that basicly what a hazer does?
-
No, this is just a regular fogger, which pumps the fog thru ice. Since the fog is warm when it comes out, it rises up, if you cool it, it sinks. The further you cool it, the more it sticks to the ground.
Using a TEC might work, but it would have to be a very large TEC (Or TEC's), which would also require a huge heatsink.
The best way would be to use some kind of phase change system, that way you can get the fog wayyy below 0, and doesn't require any ice or refills.

A good machine to keep a plate/heatsink etc cold for fog cooling might be something like this pipe freezing machine, basically a miniature refrigeration unit. plumbers use them to make an ice plug in pipework to do repairs just a bit expensive though!

Cheaper to buy a full heavy fog machine at that price.

I have one of the old le-maitre LSG units, is just a big box with a freezer inside,
Just spray your fog in and it comes out cold, no hassle, no C02,
Its going on fleebay soon as it only comes out a couple of times a year,
