Laser Speed

Hey Guys,

I have got my hands on a Prolight Equinox Aries laser:

I cant find what the scan rate is, do any of you know?

Hi Neil

Judging by the animations that your projector can do the scanners in it will be cheap single ended Cambridge Technology China copies that are rated for 10K pps. Not a bad projector if your just starting out this hobby and on a tight budget. Have you tried using it with a DMX controller as I once had a similar green unit and it was quite a capable little projector with DMX.

I normally run the unit on sound to light, the built in animations are ok, but I want something more to spice up the nights, so thought I would get into ilda and do some mini shows against the songs, I am just getting into it so not wanting to spend much until I know I can do it well. I am getting Moncha to mess about with and see how it goes.

If your getting Moncha Lite then I think you can only scan at 12kpps max, but this software has been well rated for the money by other PL members.
