    Exclamation MEMS-powered, I-phone sized, laser video projector! I want one...

    Laser TV has arrived, at least in the form of a pocket-sized projector that you can use to put video on a wall.

    I *really* want one of these things! Supposedly they'll be available for around $500. Maybe I can get my wife to buy me one for C-mas!

    Jem;

    Wonder when they'll be on sale.?. The videos say they should be ready now, but I haven't seen anything yet. Still, the fact that they've have working prototypes since March is encouraging.

    Can you imagine how cool it would be to use the scanning engine in that sucker for a real projector? Ok, you probably couldn't fit a standard laser beam (even a 2 mm one) on the MEMS mirror, but damn... If you could... !

    I wonder how long before Laserworld start fitting them inside massive coffin cases with sand ballast and selling them as 8W RGBs?

    I've registered on their site, so hopefully should receive some more information by email as it becomes available.

    My guess is that it's pretty low. 100 mw is probably on the high side of things.
