    Default Something wierd with LiveQuick...

For the life of me I can't figure this one out.

The attached pics are from a LiveQuick cue. There are maybe 10 cues that do this and everything else is fine.

If I go to ShowRider and play any show it is PERFECT. Not 1 line out of place.

This should be a square box with a circle in it. The perspective is wrong, but it makes no difference if I correct that part. Scanning at 30k in these pics. Different scan rates make no difference as far as the weird lines go.

The test patterns project fine. I can draw a box or circle and they look fine.

Is it just these cues or am I doing something wrong here? I do not think there is any issue with the projector. Everything else looks perfect. It is most likely a ID zero T error by the operator, but I don't know how to fix it.

That looks like a tweened frame. have you tried re drawing the effect in livequick to see if that fixes the issue?

It is one of the cues that comes with LiveQuick. There are about 9 or 10 more cues that come with LiveQuick that do similar things for me.

That one is page 9, cue 5.

I can go into edit the cue and each single frame looks right on the computer, but all single frames project similar to the above pictures.

I experience the wierd overshoot with some frames in LiveQuick too. It's because the frames are not optimized, and as a result, your scanners are trying to scan them too fast.

so what are the steps one would take to optimize the frame(s)? I have several made frames that have ugly lines in them. Mainly resultant from tweening. While I doubt optimizing them will help with that, it still seems to be a good trick to things up.

I believe the best way is to just add points at corners, and maybe blank points at where the line is supposed to end.

I have the same problem with some cues that aren't drawn right. For that particular one I got it to work fine by adding a blank point outside the frame. Rebuilding it is also a simple and fun option.
