Hopefully your hits/sales will go way up, besides, driver win or lose....still tons of exposure.

Thanks! I've never raced top fuel but I want to eventually. I have raced "super comp" and am licensed for it. That's a dragster that can run 7.5 seconds in the quarter @ 180mph but runs an 8.90 index for it's class. It's like strapping yourself to a slingshot.

Antron was the number one points leader for a while but has dropped to number four in the last couple weeks. He's not far behind though and we think he'll be back in the number one spot in the last two races of the season.

Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 1 1/2 gallons of nitromethane per second, which is 50 % greater than the fuel consumption of a fully loaded 747 at cruise.

You also have to be able to respond in hundreds of milliseconds on the starting tree. If you are even a partial second behind in reaction, you lost the race before you even started. A lot of racing is building a reliable consistent car, coupled with a good driver and support crew. It is as much an engineering contest off the track as it is on the track.
