Default Issues with FB3 Running on Parallels (Mac)

I was wondering if anyone else runs their FB3 using a Mac. I have a Macbook Pro that I have used before to operate my FB3 usually with a few hiccups at first. Recently, however, I tried to fire it up and have had nothing but problems.

I have installed the drivers on Windows XP Pro through Parallels Desktop 3.

The issue that I am encountering is that it does not recognize the FB3 within the software. When I plug it in I get all of the balloons that pop up in windows saying that a USB device is connected and then that a FB3 is connected. But when I start up ShRider, LiveQ or even LivePRO I get the same issue (see attached pictures) Finally it tells me that the serial number does not match.

I usually run into the same types of issues but usually not for this long. I have also ran the FB3 using an iMac and a Macbook, but I can usually iron out the bugs in about 10 minutes.

I am probably going to try another computer soon, however, I don't have one here.

Any help is, of course, much appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Max

Also the New Found Hardware Wizard asks what type of device it is (at least when I am using XP 64, which is another partition I have with parallels desktop).

The window asks for the "Hardware type" I chose all the USB types but I still don't see the device... any help here?

    Best regards,
    Max

Statements of the obvious; but have you attached the USB device in Parallels to the virtual PC? e.g. Device -> USB -> etc...
And Have you downloaded and installed the FB3 drivers (from Pangolin) on your Windows virtual PC?

Just an FYI, I will likely call Pangolin tomorrow regarding my issues (I would call tonight but its after hours already, even though Bill works late, I figured the forum might be quicker and possibly save me from embarrassment due to some stupid operator error ).

This has been done automatically though parallels set-up drivers. Although I cannot be completely sure. I am clumsy with parallels is there a way to check? I know it loaded the other USB components like the iSight and other onboard equipment. Also when I plug it in the first few times, parallels has the pop up option to connect to either the virtual PC or my mac. Of course I chose the virtual PC

If there are new drivers on the pangolin site, I am unaware of this. There were a few that came with the FB3 and LA_FB folders. I'll have to search through Pangolin, unless you know exactly where they can be found. I thought they didn't make that stuff public, I was under the impression you had to have them email that stuff to you.

More issues... When using the new found hardware wizard it doesn't recognize the NTX64 folder (the driver file from that zip on pangolins website meant for XP) as having any device drivers...

Try copying the files to a location on the C:\ drive of the virtual PC. Rather than on the Mac partition...

Also when I do try to connect to the board (like in the first picture) if I quit out of that (by using the dont save/quit button) I get this image
