They have the Arctos 500mw RGB modules in them IIRC, meaning they are Nichia 445nm diodes.

    Hello!
Arctos used 405nm Laser before they used 445nm in their projectors.
That was coming step by step. After they choosen to use the 405nm instead of 473nm DPSS, they build projectors with them up to arround2005/2006.
Also the first Arctos Cosmo 500mW RGB heads was with 405nm blue, not with 445nm.

Yes I think the above info is correct about the lasers inside the Cosmo units (I am not exactly sure) but the colors are very nice with great beam quality.

I used these lasers a little bit is some shows, but I am doing larger shows and I find myself not using them. They work great for beams in a night club sized event or for projections!

Feel free to email me and make an offer. I am modivated to sell them.

I also have a nice case that both of them fit into if you take both and I will offer a better deal if you take both units.

    Peace

The Big red is great for beam shows.
Did I mention it has full blanking as well.

In addition, I have an additional PSU unit for this that I could throw in to make the deal better.

Let me know via email is you are interested and make an offer.

I can ship worldwide and help with any shipping documents you may need.

    Peace

Hey Kyle, that big red was yours? I remember Casey sent me a picture of the laser module in there! Really impressive system, said the module cost $10000 when he built them, and he paid $6k for the diode! I am surprised you are using a SDL-820 to drive that think, total overkill for the diode! Does it use the internal TEC driver on the SDL?

Yes that is the laser that Casey made. I purchased it from him about 2.5 years ago.y time!!! I am very happy with that laser and projector!!!

Yes it is TEC cooled. I found that you can use this in super cold environments as the PSU heats the laser up to the operating temp as well.
The PSU is over rated for that laser, but that is a good thing! You have exact current limits and can set the PSU to prevent any damage and keep it at the perfict temp.

I am just now getting requests for this for holiday shows (red and green laser beams for tree lighting events) BUT i MUST SELL IT AS i HAVE TO MAKE WAY FOR SOME NEWER rgb UNITS i AM GETTING IN.

What current do you run the diode at peak? I assume you are modulating the diode electronically and not with a shutter?
