    Question Pink Floyd LaserSpectacular?

Has anyone seen the Pink Floyd LaserSpectacular?

It is coming to Seattle and just wondered if it is worth seeing for $20.

I saw the Paramount Laser Spectacular way back in the 80's. I still have the poster. I loved it then. Can't say what its like now though.
If it came around I would pop the $20 to see it again.

When is the show going to be in Seattle?

My Ft. Lewis trip is tentatively back on the schedule for right after Thanksgiving, and I'd like to work in a laser fix if time permits!!

I thought it was pretty kick ass!

I am located in Jersey and could go to the Franklin Institute in Philly for a planetarium show when I needed my fix. Laser Fantasy closed up shop there years ago so it is now seldom I get to see a professional laser show.

The Laser Spectacular show definitely gave me a good fix

Ion laser.... beam tables.... Oh YEAH!!!

P.S. If you check the site it looks like they are getting ready to start a Michael Jackson tribute show.

    Thumbs up Well worth it!

A bunch of us went to see it in 2007 in Florida, and it rocked. Definitely worth $20. (I saw it twice.)

They have a 4 watt whitelight doing graphics, grating, and lumia effects, another 4 watt whitelight doing beams over the audience's head, and a 2.5 watt argon doing static beams off a bunch of bounce mirrors. They also have three high-def DLP projectors doing video, plus a whole bunch of intelligent lighting fixtures (20+) doing all sorts of cool effects. The whole thing is choreographed to music (loud!). You'll have a blast!

If you decide to go, I can probably put you in touch with Ryan Waters. He's the guy that runs the show. Very cool guy... He actually took us all on stage to show us the lasers before the show. (Awesome!) Send me a PM and we'll see if we can work it out.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrr Ticketmaster!!!

The only tickets I could find was for both shows - the Pink Floyd show on Friday night (Nov 20) and the Michael Jackson show on Saturday night (Nov 21). I hope the lasers are good enough for me to want to see the Wacko Jacko show the next night. Maybe they will do a shrinking nose effect. That might be worth watching.
