    Cool

I thought the long open-can reds were 660nm, not 650? Did you find a new source? What's the divergence like?

The standard red diodes range anywhere from 650 to 660nm, they aren't really wavelength specific.

Is that batch differences or different LOC sleds would you know? I would like to get hold of some *actual* 650nm DVD diodes.
Or if someone has carried out some wavelength (with regard to temp/current) testing of LOC's that you know of, I would be interested to see that too if you have a clicky link or other info pls

I would be interested to hear some info too here

I vaguely remember Laser Ben putting a maxy on a spectrometer and finding a wavelength much higher the 660nm. Ben?
