As usual only a few sentences in the about-box.
This version offers better ability to work with dual-core and quad-core processors, as well as higher perceived beam power while using the beam sequencer.
Added support for visualizing lasers in Light Converse.
Added a Master Brightness capability for beams.
Also added the action for DMX Input.
Enabled the ONLINE button to be visible in the Simplified user interface
mode.
Disabled the ability to select and change the routing of zones when in
User mode.
Fixed problem seen with snapshots which would create a slow rotation if
a snapshot was activated.
Fixed problem in moving and copying cues from one location to another.
A few fixes and improvements to the MIDI capabilities.
Other minor improvements and fixes.

I spent ages to find out what I am doing wrong and it wasn't me...
How could this get so far as in to 4.5 version?

Although it's not related to work done with version 5.0, Laser Insanity Productions has created a LivePRO training course on DVD. The cost is a very reasonable £75.
This is why its important to report strange behaviours via the Pangolin contact form as they may not even be aware of it. I reported the problem some months ago and got a fixed version within 36 hours from Bill.
