That white balance is pretty impessive.. The whitelights have it beat by a thin margin due to the ion lasers constant beam diameter. It makes for cleaner beams, especially far field.

Have you thought of adding a color correction board? I'm building a scanner with RRGBV too (except 640 instead of 635 to get smaller beam diameter) and wondered how hard it would be to tune one of those board using such a setup. I would likely tie in the modulation of the 658 and 640 and also 473nm with the 405nm so I am not sure how that would work with graphics.
