    Question

You got any optics or crystals for blue lasers? We got a member who wants to build a 457nm blue.

457nm Blue Laser needs Nd:YAG (coating S1/S2:AR/AR@914nm) and a frequency doubling crystal LBO ( coating S1/S2:AR/AR@ 457nm,914nm),so you can tell me which size would u like to?

    Hi Jiimy,

what is your price for the following crystals:

    - Nd:YVO 3x3x5mm 0.1%Nd_3+
    Coatings S1: AR808nm HR914nm
    S2: AR 914nm,1064nm,1342nm

    - LBO 2x2x15mm theta=90° phi=21.7°
    Coatings S1/S2 AR 914nm/457nm

    Best regards

don't you fear less gain in the 914nm band if you let the others lase?

    They should not lase.
That's why I want the second side of the Nd:Yvo AR coated at 1064nm and 1342nm. All mirrors will also be AR@1064,1342.

Please PM me with a price for a set that can handle 15 watts of pump power with an output coupler please. The mode volume coefficient calculations will be wanted as well.

From what I've read, 457nm requires Nd:YVO4, not Nd:YAG. The 914nm line in Nd:YVO4 is apparently much stronger than the same line in Nd:YAG, and Nd:YVO4 has a broader pump absorption rage, making it much easier to work with in general..
