On a serious note, what a blatent dissregard for safety !!!

Pat is clearly shown looking at the reflections of a high power static laser beam (532nm ?) which could so easily cause eye damage. !!

Just look at the reflections on the wall behind !

I dont care if it was a controlled surrounding enviroment, that is just plain stupid risking his own safety without eye protection.

After all the sh*t he dishes out to others about safety and then shows how stupid he can be, how can anyone take him seriously !

Anyway, Thank you for posting a picture of a correctly converted Laserscope with awesome output power.

A properly trained and experienced individual can juggle chainsaws without losing limbs.

But it would be unfair for a novice to practice throwing chainsaws in a room full of trusting bystanders.

Simon, you have to understand that Pat wasn't personally attacking you with his comments about your Laserscope, just the whole situation of these potential eye poppers. Not even converted for show use, just a Laserscope with the interlocks hashed and a set of scanners lashed on.

You have to think of Pat as a "John Smith's", no messin say it as it is guy. He may come across as rude, but he was not personally targeting you.

You are obviously an intelligent guy with plenty to offer, let it go and join in with this informative forum. I promise you; you will get used to peoples ways, look back and laugh.

Are you Pats "special friend" ?

As for the gaffer tape, the advice given was taken and a lesson learned !
It was a bodge up but I did explain it but removed it and corrected the reason after listening to everone on here. I then sold the unit to a user on here as he liked what he saw when he came to see it.

It is a beautifully converted scope, no argument from me there
I hope to convert my other scopes to a similar standard very soon.
