Laser-wave 640nm Beam Diameter?

i am forwarding this thread to Bridge. As I am not the manufacturer nor is any other Distributor here a manufacturer. And i nor the other distributors can comment on what the final outcome laser will be. The specifications that I have listed for the corresponding Lasers were the specs in which i was told.

I agree with you 100% though. If you paid for 3mm and 1mrad, then that is what you should receive. Bridge, nor i will be making any excuses. I think you all know us better than that by now. These are unfortunate defects we were unaware of until customers started to relay the issues to us. and until they began to go under more testing at the factory. Unfurtunately it is the nature of the technology. Sometimes, things go wrong. It is a relatively newer technology and the defects have been pointed out to us. It is industry wide by the way. I have personally seen and heard of the exact same beam problems with other manufacturers. American, Chinese, German and other.

It is being worked on vigorously. that is all I can say right now. It is a relativley small problem, so i think it can be solved quickly. but i honestly dont know.

I think your absolutely right SRS. I,m pretty bridge will sort it out but hounestly laserwave shouldn,t sell them until its bin tested en stable with the right specs as promised.

I'm thinking about one of the 200mW ones or so, as they are within my price range.

When I metered my green, I seem to remember it doing about 190mW, and according to Chroma, 100mW of green and 230mW of 640 should give me a nice orange.

Doesn't worry me too much, the green is still there for big beams

Yes, about 640nm small beam lasers, first, I must apologize for it, someone here maybe had waited long time, yes, I am sorry but I should agree, our higher power 500mW, 600mW, 900mW series 640nm or 658nm red lasers products is not mature. I am apologize for our optimistic estimate after our first few sample lasers born, we don't totally consider quantity product questions. Now, after we received more orders and begin do it, we find our producing not mature and can't match requirement,also during we do strictly test here, we found most beam are changed, just like we do 5pcs, there is 1pcs is ok, the others are need repair, after repair, not everyone is ok too, I know that is a very popular problems other company who do these lasers too. but from our test flow, we can't receive our products like this. so I am sorry to say, we will cancel these products orders, if you had ordered the products and we still not send products to you, please contact your seller and asking them repayment for you, the loss(just like paypal charge or bank charge) will burden by our company, just like you payed 2000USD for that, we at least ensure 2000USD back to your hand, if you transfer through paypal, that 's meaning 2 times paypal charge is burden by our company. sorry for give you, our customers troubles, I wish this won't affect your trust of our company, we will try our best and work our hardest to solve this problems, when we can gain, product 5 pcs, here test 5 pcs are ok, or 4 pcs are ok, then we will begin sell again, wish we will back soon.
In a word, now, we only receive 640nm and 658nm below 350mW(including 350mW) orders, if you had ordered higher power 640nm or 658nm products, please contact with your seller, we will repayment what you should received.

Well its good to know that LaserWave admits there’s a problem and isn’t sending out units with known issues just because they want to sell something. In the end it was a new product and it can happen no matter in what country it was created.

If you have room why not 2 x 300mw reds and combine the beams, assuming the polarisation allows this?

Alternatively, I know Kvant are doing high power reds becaues Insanity has one. Whether they're having the same problems I don't know.
