Hey guys, a huge thanks for organising a fantastic event.
It was really nice to meet everyone, finally put faces to names. I guess it's only when you actually go to events like these that you realise how much work has gone into designing and building some quite staggering bits of kit.
I'm glad i brought my projector and was able to finally unleash the pure power of the LV 10mw dmx beast. (I say forget 50kpps scanners...5kpps stepper motors are the future)

I have to say i slept like a log last night after quite possibly the worst night's sleep of my life on Saturday caused by what seemed to be a wild animal being repeatedly strangled during the night .
Wait a minute, i think i've discovered a cure for chronic narcolepsy
Anyway, it was definitely worth it, roll on the next UKLEM. And as for the the lasers...i'll let the pictures and vids do the talking..

I forgot to say thanks to you Chris for the Blackberry help, I did eventually sort it - I had put dots in the string where it should have had comma's
As soon as I realised and changed then it worked
115kbps GPRS connection, a bit slow but it allowed me to get on the Inet and order 2x 30M ILDA cables from Amazon while I was there

Out of interest, what cameras were used for these shots? I'm wondering if you have to spend big bucks to be able to take good laser shots, or if a certain amount is down to technique and knowing the subject matter.
