    Question

Maybe instead of posting this same thing several times, you could tell us how much you were expecting to get for it..

    $300!

no seriously while this kit is beautiful I couldn't imagine it being that relevant to laser shows... especially $4500 relevant... maybe look for a forum dedicated to holography or something?

although if I win the lottery you would be the first to know

Why don't you stick it on ebay with a $9.99 starting price and no reserve and see what it is really worth...

I'm sorry to say that there's nothing in those boxes a holographer would need, that couldn't be bought pretty much any day for a few hundred dollars. The big rods are only a help when there's huge vibration sources on the table with the set-up, the lens mounts are easily replaced by a little dab of epoxy on the end of a rod and a piece of black photographer's tape, pictorial holographers don't use translators, and the post holders are all too short. But the boxes are real nice! Hard to see $800 there, even for the motivated.

those are real nice kits there rick. However only a government budget could buy the lot. My honest suggestion would be to part it all out on ebay, one piece at a time, throw the foam in the trash and use the boxes to bury the gold you will get for the sale in the backyard.

I would be interested in the translation stages if they were michrometer.

very nice set, some university would like it ...but couldnt afford it.

    good luck on your sale!
