Default Making LivePro Cues bigger to fill my screen properly??

    Hi.
Is there any way to make the cue's window in LivePro any bigger?

I have a 23" Widescreen touchscreen and the cue's could do with being a bit bigger as I have lots of wasted space around them.

If I use QuickShow the cue's resize them selves to fit the screen size and are nice and large, the LivePro cue's remain the same size

    Corr Blimey! 23" Touchscreen...? MEGA

I don't think you can uncheck the "maintain square appearance of cues" thing in LivePro like in Quickshow.
But how about setting LivePro to multimonitor mode, and drag the windows side by side. It's not gonna make your cues bigger, but it won't waste as much screen space, as you'll have more stuff to fiddle with on screen?

    Hi Daniel,

That's a pretty clever solution you got there. Go ahead and give it a try. If it doesn't work, write to us and we'll see if we can devise a an alternative layout for really widescreen monitors like yours.

    Hi Dan/Bill

Well, Dan's idea sort of works but it's not really practical. Yes the cue's screen gets bigger once dual monitor has been activated but the floating other window won't resize properly as it keeps resizing it's self to random sizes once I alter it's size from the original size when I switch to dual screen.
I tried minimising the other screen but you then loose it and have to minimise the cue's screen in order to find it and get it back.
Not good really in a live environment.
If LP could resize as QS does then that would be awesome. The cue sizes in QS are really nice!

I recently reported to Pangolin that in extended view the primary window size and position were not saved on exit. They fixed it and sent me an updated version. Maybe this can already solve your problems. Contact Bill, maybe he might be able to help you.

Why can't each individual window in LP be detachable/moveable/sizeable as with HE-Laserscan (I think it was ) ?

This would then accomodate for all the different size monitors that are now available on the market.

Please get with me directly (and privately) as I can see there can be several (or many) back-and-forth emails and some exploration to solve this.

Bill, I would be interested in the conclusion to this.

Mine's not as big as Jim's, it's only 22", but still lots of empty space.

However I will wait until until Jim is sorted and hopefully the process is ironed out.

    Default TOP TIP for 2010

    I also had this issue

my cues did not fill the screen ...

but i was able to get around this by masking off the unused area with black gaffa tape

    now fills the screen perfectly

all the best and happy new year

Email sent Bill but I did put it on PL as I am sure there are others with this problem.

    Thanks
