    Default iScope?

I guess those fake iPhones that don;t live to become iClone's make it here...

This is actually quite ingenious if you ask me...

I would upgrade the storage though... but that's just me

Oh man! That's actually pretty damn cool! This may be a good upgrade from my Fluke Scopemeter 123. The price seems really good, I just wonder how accurate it really is????? Anyone dare to buy one and do a review???

Looks like they just wrote a program to use the microphone input.

    Excatly!

    12-bits? at 1Msps? reliably? I doubt it!

It may look cool... and it probably is awesome to have a scope the size of an iPhone... but I doubt it would perform anywhere near where it should.

I prefer a real scope... over a cool one

I'd rather have a junky Owon or pay three weeks pay for a FLUKE scopemeter.

330 khz is probably the best you can get out of 1 MSPS.

But if you feel you need a really portable scope:

There is a small TEK, that shows up from time to time dead. Hint, replace the internal nicad batteries and they come back to life.

    TEK 214 or TEK 221.

214 is storage. I sold one once, my mistake.

Everything has a value though, question is; is $89 too much?

Actually looking at the schematic, its not bad. If it can scroll back and forth through a capture to make up for the lack of a external triggering input, it might be a good investment for laser work. I like the fact they publish the schematic. But the bandwidth is questionable?

I agree... for laser work, and in such a portable package... it's quite the no-brainer TBH.

    Here's a good review:

I might pick one up for $89... I mean... how bad of a pocket tool can it be?? For 0-60 kpps scan systems, it's gonna be excellent...

Then again, using the sound card's input line on any computer would probably do as good of a job (my projector seems to also have a built-in scope too after all :P)

Well for £50 it's worth a look so I've ordered one, it will save me balls carrying my old analogue beast from the garage for a quick signal check.
