    Default Pangolin Quickshow

    Hello everyone..

I finally got the timeline to work in Quickshow and its really easy to make a show in that software.

although how do you Save the show. there is no exporting nor saving option. Only thing you can do is save your workspace.

I was making a show for about 3hours yestrday and couldent find any saving or exporting option so i shut the software down and it asked if i wanted to save workspace. YES ofc.

but started the software up again and the show that i created in the timeline was gone.?

    anyone?

Can it really be this stupid, that there is no saving/exportin of the show you create in the timeline? or am i missing something.

QuickTimelineSaving the show to a cue
You can save the QuickTimeline show to a cue for more permanent storage or for use later. Simply drag and drop the preview window (or the QuickTimeline tab itself) to a cue.

    in help file, try that.

Thanks, Francesco. I knew I had seen that around here somewhere. - Tim

Now if you drag the timeline show to a cue to save it as a cue, how about the music? It does not seem to go with it.

I have not found a way except to drag the timeline into a cue, and then try to start it with the music "wild" and keep the tempo setting the same as when you made it. You can then save the whole workspace, reload it, the cue will still be there, try to drag the cue back to the timeline, and reload the music, and cross your fingers that it all lines up. It probably won't. I'm still waiting for the promised update, hope it is improved.Post something on the Pangolin forum about this.... -Tim

Bill normally supplies those links 'on request' rather than making them publically available.

Your post suggests its the 'latest version' which might be perceived to be an actual release rather than the beta that it really is.

It might be wise to take down the link so that a) Bill doesn't get upset and simply stop letting people have pre-release versions and b) people don't download a version with known issues and then go out and either have problems, or report back that things aren't right with it (and all the hysteria that usually ensues)
