Well, after seeing so much laser death, here are some pictures of a laser coming to life

So yesterday I spent a few hours in the car driving up north to pick up some lasers a friend was selling. Loaded them in the truck with the help of a forklift (They weigh ~320lbs/crate

We got home and had to unload them with 2 people.

Unpacked everything and:

All in all, a good day

It has a very small water loop (think barely flowing 1/4" hose) to cool the Nd:YVO4 crystal. Other then that, it is simple air cooled.

I think he takes the cover off and defeats the interlocks with them for some nice pictures.. then resells them!

Nice laser Ben, I'm sure all of us would liked to have had our hands on that one
