I don't think we'll be going to dinner much before 6:30 or so... Will that be enough time? (We've also got time after dinner, you know.)

As far as a screen, I don't know. I can check with Paul and see if he's got something. Or maybe Chris would let us borrow his. LJK also suggested that we use the material that they make room-darkening drapes out of. (The white backing material, that is.) So we might be able to buy some of that and hang it from my stands...

So as of yet it appears that no one will be there on Friday during the day.?. Is that correct?

Also, for the folks that will be traveling, I tried to contact the Holiday Inn Express hotel (the one across the street from the venue) to arrange a group rate, but the manager has not called me back yet. He did sound open to the idea, but I've called back twice now and he's not available. So I don't know what the status is... Still, if you do decide to stay at this hotel, you might want to mention that last year everyone got a discount rate. Maybe he'll feel embarrassed for dropping the ball and give you a discount anyway. (Be sure to mention that you're in town for the laser meet at the Triangle Boat Club.) And even without a discount, it's a very nice hotel to stay at, especially since it's so close.

Hey guys;

OK, with FLEM less than a week away, it looks like no one will be available on Friday until the late afternoon. With that in mind, I suggest that we forget about the guitar hero stuff. Just plan on meeting at the venue around 4 PM or so to set up our projectors. Then we'll go out to eat at Angelo's, and after that we'll come back to the venue for some pre-FLEM laser fun.

Saturday will be like normal. Figure we'll get things started around 9:30 or so. (Maybe later for the folks driving in from out of town.)

There's never any problem with people bringing stuff to sell or trade, so please feel free to bring whatever you're looking to get rid of. Also, sorry that you'll miss out on dinner dude... I'll be looking for you on Saturday.

The funny thing is we work almost as close. He's about 1.5 miles from my work.

I'll bring the screen with me as long as Mo is going to bring it back. I thought there was a chance he wouldn't make it?

Worst case though, if he can't make it, I could leave the screen with Aaron and he could get it back to you. (He works in Orlando, so you two could probably get together one day after work...)

Re: drinks - I need to make arrangements yet. What time is good for you on Thursday?
