    Default Keylock question

Ok a bit of a dumb question, am building my projector case, have a keylock from Rob Stanwax.
The keylock switch has 2 positions, on and off (duh) .
In one position you can take out the key in the other the key can't be taken out.

    Do i now:
Turn the projector to ON and take the key out

    OR
Turn the projector to on and now the key CAN'T be removed ?
When in off i can take the key out.

OPtion 1, i and i alone as the operator, turn the machine on, no one else can.
The on / off switch which is below the keylock, but allows people to turn on the laser again even without the key. Not Safe.

So i think option 2 is safer. When the key is out, no one can turn on the projector, the on/off switch doesn't work.

What do you think ? Option 1 or 2.

the key should be non-removable while the projector is on.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

the regulations in the netherlands say that the key shouldn,t be removed when the laser is on. So when the laser is off and you have the key no one can switch the laser on. Mccarrot knows best. In your projector there is also a extra neuric for connecting a safetybox with emergency stop, keyswitch and reset when there is powerloss from the grid. I have the bracket for your projectors by the way.

Hi Edison, thanks, saw you called but was trying to rescue some pictures of my best friends second baby.
The files were corrupted and the atmosphere was really "hot" between friend and wife at that moment, so couldn't answer ;-) My joke to do the birth of the child again was laughed about by my buddy but his wife wasn't so happy about my joke......

Tomorrow/this weekend am in Leeuwarden for a small LAN, so i could drop by and pick them up ?
Would it be possible to order an extra one for my Green which i am building now ?
Well speak to you tomorrow/saturday/sunday perhaps ?

This is the most simple circuit for the keyswitch and the interlock.
