    Default DIY oscilloscope for $36

I think this looks like an interesting bargain, I've ordered one to find out - it's still less than $40 including airmail shipping to the UK, although it remains to see how much customs / VAT / Royal Mail handling charges get added on.

    Great tip!!!

I just needed a storage scope to measure puls width for MPE calculations

did you bought the storage version?

    The spec says :

    * Save up to 6 captures to EEPROM and retain after power down

    - and I agree that it could be very useful for measuring pulse width for MPE calcs.

I expect it to be a couple of weeks before it arrives, stuff from the USA has a tendancy to get stuck in UK customs!

Analog bandwidth is 1Mhz, this means that any practical measurement can be at max 100kHz.

    just warning

Correct, some reviews on the internet also shows 100kHz max.

But for MPE Pulse width measurements it should be enough, 100KHz = a pulse of 0,01ms
