Ok dudes, safely arrived in Gent, Belgium for the first part of my journey.
I don't know WHAT you guys are gonna bring, but it sure does sound interestingly.
I think i don't have anything to show you guys (at least nothing new).

I did bring the RGB with me, with the kvant red that is out of alignment.
Due to a unwanted drop of the flight case by an inconsiderate person it went out alignment.

Different model than Mark, but have asked the Magic wizard of Light (Rob) to help me getting it in Alignment again.

Shame about your lazer alignment but there will certainly be a lot of people to help sort it out! haha.

All my stuff is now packed and ready to throw in the car first thing on Friday morning

I've packed a nice selection of various lasers just for general interest as well as my projector. I wasn't going to bother bringing my little Genny, unless anyone can think of a good reason why I ought to...

@Skulpture: Yes, i already made an arrangement with Sir Rob, the Magic Knight of light and photons. In fact i am the first in queue hahaha.... I like that decent queueing system you still have in good old England.

@Paul: organised ? Well, you get used to it, it's merely repeating the same trick (booking, packing, driving), but the LEMs always are cool. Meeting lots of new people, learning a lot of new stuff.
Do you bring the MUGS this time ? And are you still on for the deal ?
Thought i'd offered you 30 pounds last time to get everyone a mug right ?
Is that deal still on ? If not it's also ok, i brought my Liverpool mug i got from Kevski and his wife when they visited Amsterdam.
I only forgot to bring sugar and a spoon to stir.... Brought me cup, tea but no sugar and spoon....
However i did bring the stroopwafels hahahaha.... A LOT !

Anyway....Woot ! I already boarded the DFDS Ferry.
We will be leaving the port around Noon.
Don't know if there is still a one hour timedifference , since we just switched to summertime.
But if there is i will be arriving 1PM English time...and then it's just another 260miles orso.

Just thought I'd butt in and say "Woooooot" not long now lads!!

I'm as excited as a schoolboy in a sexshop.. (erm, not in the physical sense).

Work tomorrow will be hell, I'll spend all day watching the clock.. I did want to take the day off but my bossman is in France this week so someone has to hold les fort - plus I'm a contractor so I don't get paid if I don't show up.

Got some serious packing to do tonight, Wife says she will help lift tranny in the car which she has sucessfully done once before. Then to gather all the various stuff I'll need.. not to mention the food and drink and vices I'll need for the drive down.

Was planning on stopping smoking a few weeks back but alas, have not yet so I'll be "smoking" it up all the way down south.

It's offically been 2 years since I last stepped foot in England, so long that I'm sure you will all notice my Scottish accent.. (not my Kiwi one) between Paul and I you won't have a clue what we are saying.

So yea, I'm looking forward to this - it will be awsome to finally meet all you fantastic chaps !! Can't bloody wait!!

Now off to make up my spreadsheet of stuff to bring, don't want to forget the laptop charger like I've done in the past.
