    Default DT40 Pro failure?

    Hi,

I got a pair of DT40 Pro and they work great some few weeks ago.
To day I just tried to run it again and saw the X galvo didnt move at all
The LED's on the drivers are on, so I guess they works.

Any idea what have cauzed the dead X?

    Thanks for any responses

Could a pin have pulled out of one of the connectors? What about a broken wire or a short?

Tried to replace it 2 other DT40 Pro's cables, still the same, no X output. The fuse is ok also.
Last time I had the galvo running for maby 15-20 min. (first time in use)
    Just projecting txt.
My other DT40 Pro's galvos are running perfect

I think this is very strange..

Cruch, have you checked the 1.5A (I think) small fuse on the scanner amp?
If this pops, the amps light up as usual but there's zero output on these scanners.

    Hopefully thats the problem

    Ahhh...

Is the x galvo mirror being held in the central position by the amp? (careful or you will pop the fuse)

You could try isolating them by unplugging the signal feeds on the scanner amps, if that makes no difference then drop Jian a mail & see what he says

I have found the problem. One of the blue adjustment pots is loose from the PCB. How this happends, I dont know.
I guess I need to send it off to Jian for a fix.

    Thanks for all ideas

Good eyes! At least you found it and can get it fixed. Should take a solder or two.
