    Default received new rgb

    need some more help

i received my new rgb made by pink em lasers. it has 50mw green 50mw blue and 350mw red.

the green is causing a few problems due to it not blanking properly.

when on auto and on dac. when using on the dac if i put it on red only it blanks properly. if its on white it seems ok but when i put it on pink or blue only the green beam doesnt go fully out. its causing the colous to be all wrong. its strange cause when on the red it goes completly out but when putting on any other colour the green is on which is obviously a problem.

can anyone help please with some troubleshooting

    thanks oli

hi im stuggleing to get pictures as the only camera i have is my phone one. did a bit more investigation and found that 0.7 v is coming out of the program board causing the laser to think its suppose to be on. the normal load for the laser asking to be on is 1.3 v. the dac is not outputing any voltage so i think one of the wire is either touching on the pcb or its getting a bit of back feed. not sure but im going to look into it further.
if i cant find anything im going to rewire the ilda connector so that it doesnt go through the dmx program board. it seems to be fitted with the scan pro 20 kit and as many of us know who have bought them the dmx side of these scanners has been causing different problems. im pretty sure this is also the problem with this laser with one of the pcbs.
dont know yet but gonna look into it further and find out. ill keep you informed. cheers ollie
