    Lightbulb DMX Controllers and things

I’m having a clear out of some of my laser gear and thought I’d offer it to the good folks of PL first.
To avoid postage costs (and to deny Mr Postie the chance to play footie with this nice gear) I’d like to do the deals at the forthcoming UKLEM in Surfleet.
That way you get to “try before you buy” and can be happy with the deal.
Naturally that means UK folks only (and visitors to our fair shores of course).

    Soundlab DMX Controller

    Attachment 19702

Scene Setter 24 channel DMX Desk.

This is a great DMX desk suitable for someone just starting out with DMX as it gives full control over 24 channels of DMX output.
It has 4 pages of program memory holding up to 48 programs, has a large variety of chase functions, built-in microphone, line in for sound-active mode and also has MIDI interface. Comes complete with Mains Adaptor.
Recommended for dipping your toe into the murky world of DMX.

    Stairville DMX Controller

    Attachment 19703

    Attachment 19704

The Stairville DMX-Master I controller is a little more complicated to use than the Soundlab controller but has more features.
It can control up to 192 channels of up to 12 fixtures (lights, lasers etc.).
    The official blurb for this controller states;

    • DMX controller, up to 12 fixtures,
    • 16 channels per fixture,
    • 30 banks of 8 programmable scenes for a total of 240 scenes
    • Up to 30 seconds fade time
    • 0.1 second to 10 minutes speed for scene changes
    • Joystick
    • LCD Screen
    • 192 channels DMX control
    • programmable scenes and chasers
    • 19", DMX output: 3-pin female XLR.

Once again I’m asking £70 ono

    LaserPod

    Attachment 19706

    Attachment 19707

    Attachment 19709

This unit sits on your desk and uses a mixture of lasers and LED’s to create a Lumina effect either on ceilings or on the included diffusers.

It’s very calming to watch the swirling patterns.

    Heavy Duty G Clamps
    Attachment 19711

I bought these with the intention of using them to mount my projectors in a secure manner. However they turned out to be a little more “hard core” than I expected (I could probably hang off them myself and I ain’t no lightweight as I’m sure many will agree).

If anybody wants to absolutely positively be sure that their gear won’t come loose from the scaffolding/mount points due to clamp failure then these babies are for you.
£2 each secures your gear for life !!
