Default Old Laser Illusions ISA card

I was digging through some old pics on my computer and found this! Not sure how many he made, nearly all of the people I've talked to here didn't even know it existed. It was made by laser illusions and was out before Rick went back to the parallel port based DAC. I don't have it anymore, I ended up selling it back in 2002 I think. Anyway, I thought it was neat and wanted to share.

    ME 2.

I'm the one who taught him about animation, and I hand wired my ISA (much simpler then yours) from his prototype. He really liked static frames for soem reason. The funky abstracts were cool too.

    Ricks first animation was

    EAT
    AT
    JOES

in 3 frames, after I begged him to add animation. I explained it to him in Neon terms, hence eat at joes, from the neon sign in the Popeye cartoons. My other machine at the time was a Amiga 500 running LSD1000, a Pango product. You could get your photon fix with LSD ! (Bills gonna ring my neck for that crack remark :_)

Anybody else have one of his(Rick's, not Bill's) demo videos set to the "Supermodel Song"?

I have one of these boards still as well as the Source Code for a very old version of his software in Delphi. Decided to look for Rick today, have not talked to him in years..

Have you tried cascading them so that one "modulates the others" you can get really kool lissajous figures and change sweep speeds in realtime whilst running animations!

    Cheers
