Default Casio XJ for movies and does the 2500 lumens and 2000 lumens projector use some diode

    2 questions

    (1) Has anyone checked out how this projector does for 1080p for showing movies?

    (2) Are the same diodes used in the 2500 lumens and the 2000 lumens projector?

I would like to know as well, since I am interested in purchasing one for setting up a long life TV that is a projector.

Are they bright enough for general TV viewing and watching the occasional Blu-Ray?

    well 1080P is 1920x1080...

the XJ-A1xx series is 1024x768... and the XJ-A2xx series is 1280x800... soooo.... probably not so great for 1080... the A2 series can almost do 720p (1366x720)

Everything about it is great; apart from:
    - Noisy on high brightness settings
    - Runs VERY hot
    - There is no such word as "can't" -
    - 60% of the time it works every time -
