    Laser Warning wireless ilda (pangolin)

    hi all

not been on here in so long so thought id say hello everyone again iv recently started doing much larger laser shows than i used to do.

i have 3 fb3's and only used to use 1 or at most 2 as i was doing small parties and didnt see the need. iv recently extended the amount of lasers i have and increased all the powers of them. i now have 6 laser projectors.

the other day i did a laser show using 4 of my blue lasers and 1 green. i didnt want them all doing the same so setup the centre green and 2 blues on one controller and two more blues on another controller.

i setup at the back of the large theatre room in the A/V box. this required a huge amount of wiring to get from the back to the front for both boxes (i wanted all 3 boxes but needed extra cableing)

im just wondering how people do huge scale laser shows where there are 20 lasers and the lighting box is miles away from the stage?

is it done wirelessly or with a massive amount of cableing and time and effort? if its the latter i will invest in more cableing and fb3

here are a couple of you tube videos of the event posted by other people at the event

    Qm2000.net off course
They connect the QM2000.nets to a wireless router
The pc from a distance connects to that network

Oh and oliverst14 my advice is to hide your email on a public forum, you never know who will spam your email.

just looked it up on youtube, good venue, talking of the strobes, they went mental with them on our gig, and that huge video wall that filled the stage and blinded every body, took some power to get over it!

    Default Qm.nets

Let's say I was to get 3 x qm.nets which will cost a fair bit but would I need an individual wireless network for each or can I run them all on one wireless network? Also would I need a different version of live pro as I have the fb3 USB version at the moment?

you just need one cat 5 and put a switch on stage with the .nets, and yes, live pro is not the same,

gonna cost some £££ to get that setup
