Default Help fix my 3 watt projector

    Hi everyone.

    I have a GoldenStar 3 watt RGB.

After getting it back to the UK from India the green had drastically missaligned.
It's not a case of adjusting the mirrors or dichros because they are all screwed and glued down and so is the green. So I do think they have moved at all.
I can't pick the glue of either, I've tried.
I know there are ways to do it but I can't do it myself.
I think maybe the crystal inside the green or something else has moved.
I'm based in Essex and would like to know if anyone close by would want to look at it and fix it for me. And also what you'd charge for it.
To fix it at the moment I had to really change the angle of the first scanner mirror to catch it but it's not a solution and the scanner go weird after 10 mins of use so this is very bad for the scanners.
I'd really like to get this fixed.
If anyone can help and are close to Essex I'd gladly drive to you and show you the problems.
    The green is dpss.

    Much appreciated,
    Graham

@ "After getting it back to the UK from India" If the projector traveled with U I think TEMPERATURE might have something to do with it.

You may want to try and PM Rob (Stanwax). If memory serves, he will service DPSS lasers. He is located in Wales....

Thanks Absolim. Was hoping for someone more local. There must be a good laser DIYer nearer to me

we really need pictures, i tend to not think it's the crystal as they are not that large and if they fall out of alighment they just wont work, maby the assembly poped lose, i have seen the TEC brake or the out put lens shift but we really need pictures and then some more pictures, then after that another picture or two

forgot to mention even more pictures lol

    Hi Draco
That's encouraging that it could be the lens on the green.
I'll see if I can get some pictures up.
But I'm still not going to be able to do this myself. I want to drive it to someone and let them look.

    Thanks for responding.
