    Hiya
Lookin good , very similiar in style to daves diode mount , i like the extra fins for heatsinking.

Having had some of daves delivered , and looked and studied something to consider maybe to build it around Evils diode and lasorb holder to ensure that fits in/on as its a cool product and maybe an extended case / overhang to protect the wiring.

In the beginning there was none. Then came the light - #1 UKLEM - 2007

The grooves on top do not really add to the cooling capabilities right now.
One uses grooves to increase the surface, but these grooves increase the total surface by a few percent. Most of the heat is conducted to the baseplate anyway.

Maybe you can increase the footprint a little so you can mount a 30x30 fan on top. Then change the grooves into a star-like pattern.

Maybe you can add a hole or slot to fit a lasorb into. (as close as possible to the diode)

It does git the aixiz 405nm lens, or any lens that has m9, 0.5mm thread.

I have a group buy running, 5 left I think, with another lot arriving soon
