You could also call Selland Lissack at Laserworks - http://www.laserworks.us/contact-us/ ...they were involved with Mobo in making those, as I remember...

As far as I know, Lumalaser IS still in biz - you might try calling John (?? I forget the guys' name...) at Phantom Dynamics http://www.phantomdynamics.com/info.html - he has the 'inside' numbers (cels, etc) of the Luma-peeps, and can get ahold of them, even off-hours...

(I know I just sent you this in-reply to your email, but I figured I post these fyi's for anyone else searching for this in 'el futuro'....

Will found ou the Laserworks guys only supplied the Scanners no the DMX Portion, and Lumalaser did not know either but had a good starting point for me so I will be able to figure it out.

    Thanks all

last i heard a few years ago is that kyle of laseronics is a lead rep for lumalaser.
    he is on this board.

i have a manual for my lumascan that runs off a little "smart" pad.

there are some dip switch settings for the whole rig, not just the scanner.
scanner runs off the "smart pad".
i run my box w/ just one dip switch up and everything comes through sliders/channels 1-8

i'll pm you if and when i find the manual..
not sure exactly if the info there on dip switches is what you need.

so i found my manual to my lumascan.
the back page has a dmx chart for functions of the scanner.
    fans, beams text and such.
thing is i don't if that is what you are looking for and i think these scanners have gone through changes so unless you have the same one i do these values might not work.
if we can determine if this is the info you need, i can (eventually)photocopy and send it along.

    again try kyle too.
